Brooke Warfel

Associate

 

Brooke joined Crowley Cottrell in 2016 bringing a background in horticulture and floral design. Her experience in the firm ranges from residential planting plans to state park master planning and workforce housing throughout New England. Brooke brings a deep understanding of plant material and an ability to design spaces that are beautiful year round. Even on the most challenging sites she creates beautiful and inviting spaces.

 

Brooke earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from The College of Environmental Science and Forestry at the State University of New York. During her undergraduate studies, Brooke worked with refugees and a local community center to design and construct a community garden. Through her community work and studies abroad in Sicily and Spain, Brooke learned how to navigate cultural barriers and the importance of the public realm. Continuing her love of gardening and public spaces Brooke enjoys spending her time with her sons and husband tending to their community garden plot in Roslindale, MA. When she isn’t in the garden she can be found walking or snowshoeing the Arnold Arboretum and Blue Hills Reservation.
