Halibut Point Award Submission

Last week, we were thrilled to share that our work at Halibut Point State Park received an Honor Award from the Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA)! Behind every gold star is a story—and we want to share the substance behind the shine.

Our award submission offers a deeper look into how we navigated the delicate balance between ecological preservation and visitor experience to guide our design. Through a thoughtful approach that prioritized sustainability, accessibility, historic interpretation, and long-term stewardship, the project revitalized the park while honoring its dual mission of conservation and recreation.

By enhancing access, upgrading infrastructure, and embracing ecological best practices, the park now offers a more inclusive, resilient, and enriching experience for all.
