Rachel joined Crowley Cottrell in the summer of 2023. She previously worked as a designer in Washington, DC at Groundsmith Collective and Horn & Co.

 

Rachel graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a minor in horticulture. During her undergraduate years, she studied garden photography in Europe and the intersection of human culture, the natural environment, and the economy regarding sustainability in Australia. Amidst her studies, she was a member of her university’s marching band. Her love of the visual arts, plants, and music sparked her desire to pursue a field that combined her interests and allowed her artistry to shine. She holds a particular fascination for the therapeutic and psychological effects of landscapes.

 

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Eevee.
