Collaboration Spotlight: Palmer Cove

The design of a public park is an intensely collaborative process involving a host of community groups and city or town departments, in short, all the people who are experts on the landscape and its context.

Few projects represent this collaborative effort as well as Palmer Cove Park in Salem's Point neighborhood. In 2018 we began work at the park with a master plan informed by months of community engagement. This blossomed into a multi-phase project involving over a dozen collaborators and community organizations who all shared our goal of making the park a safer, more accessible, and more resilient place to play, garden, and relax.

We are honored to have collaborated with the wonderful community in Salem and the many organizations who have dedicated their time to improving this park.
