Crowley Cottrell's design for Norwich University provides gathering place, simplifies circulation within the steep Vermont slopes of the campus, and sensitively solves ADA access to the core academic buildings.  A native Vermont tree canopy creates an allee linking the historic Upper Parade grounds to the iconic White Chapel. Memorial Plaza provides gathering space in front of the renovated Webb Hall. The plan relocates the Harmon Memorial, a statue and wall commemorating distinguished alumni, to the focal point of a new plaza. Three dimensional illustrations were produced to build consensus within the university and for fundraising.
