Concord, MA

 

In an effort of true collaboration, we worked with the architects to site this building in the landscape such that it feels that it has always been there. The living spaces are carefully orchestrated to take full advantage of views of an historic stone retaining wall surrounding a large preserved wet meadow. We further grounded the building by transplanting large trees from the site and establishing a native meadows that carry your eye through to the existing meadows beyond.
