Rory O'Connor

Rory O’Connor joined Crowley Cottrell in the fall of 2024 after graduating from Northeastern University with a degree in Architecture.

​

During their time in school, they studied abroad in Spain and interned at architecture firms in Boston where they worked as a designer and model maker. After participating in a studio focused on coastal climate resiliency and working on various landscape architecture projects as a research assistant, their interests pivoted from the design of buildings to the spaces around them. They are looking forward to growing their love of plants and nature while working to design spaces that are sustainable, functional, and beautiful.

In addition to choosing a career that prioritizes a connection to nature, they take advantage of every opportunity to spend their free time outside; walking and biking around Boston, 

and tending their community garden plot in the Fens.
