Crowley Cottrell worked with the City of Boston to update Amatucci Playground in Hyde Park, Boston. The designs upgraded play equipment, increased accessibility, seating, and opportunities for multi-use programming. Existing features, such as the basketball court were incorporated into the new designs. Play equipment was custom designed with Kompan to maximize age-appropriate play structures within the given space. Crowley Cottrell designed both parks in tandem, but separate community processes helped to guide the development of each neighborhood park.
