Roslindale, MA

 

The Roslindale Wetlands Urban Wild is a little known but locally loved site in Roslindale, which is nearly 50% wooded wetland and surrounded on all sides by residential lots. This restoration and trail work project included intensive invasive species management, completed the loop trail with boardwalks, and provided a portion of accessible trail that follows the Forest Service accessibility guidelines, and enhanced entrances with native plants and signage. Crowley Cottrell took a light hand to this rugged and highly disturbed site to improve native habitat and visitor experience.
