Cohasset, MA

This project began with a feasibility study of three potential town hall sites. Crowley Cottrell's site analysis of the civic, historic, and landscape character of these sites informed a public process opting to renovate Cohasset’s historic town hall.

 

Crowley Cottrell's design for the town hall and new addition provides accessible entrances and gathering spaces, while simplifying and clarifying the landscape in keeping with the surrounding historic character of the Town Common, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
