Campus Masterplan
Brewster Academy
Our project team at Crowley Cottrell completed a landscape master plan that redefines circulation, strengthens identity, and sets a clear framework for the growth of this lakeside campus in New Hampshire. Like many independent schools, the campus grew through the acquisition of Main Street residences that retained separate driveways and a disconnected layout. The plan consolidates and reduces these driveways by introducing a continuous pedestrian spine that follows the site’s contours to link academic and residential zones. At the heart of the plan is a car-free campus quad that becomes a central social and visual focal point. The plan preserves the school’s most iconic feature—the lake—maintaining key views along the main entry drive to reinforce the campus’s identity and the memorable first impression experienced by visitors and prospective students.
