Our design team at Crowley Cottrell provided landscape architecture services for the comprehensive renovation of White Stadium in Franklin Park—a highly visible public-private partnership that revitalizes Boston Public School’s athletic facilities while creating a home for the region’s first professional women’s soccer team. The landscape design addresses accessibility, circulation, and planting within a constrained historic park setting, balancing the needs of large events and daily community use. Our work includes the reconfiguration of paths and gathering areas, designing fencing and planting systems, and establishing new canopy, understory, and meadow communities that enhance biodiversity and stormwater performance. Working closely with multiple City of Boston departments, the design team is advancing an inclusive and resilient landscape that supports students, athletes, and visitors while honoring Franklin Park’s ecological and cultural legacy.
