The William R. Peck Middle School project in Holyoke, MA is a complete rebuild of an existing school building and the undulant site it sits on. Our project team at Crowley Cottrell designed landscape improvements on all sides of the building, including an entry plaza for parent and bus drop-off, expanded parking area, service court, informal play courts, and a spirited interior courtyard. The thoughtful navigation of the site’s intense grade change extends pedestrian and landscape connections to an adjacent public park and high school.
