Campus Masterplan
Proctor Academy
Our design team at Crowley Cottrell developed a campus master plan for this 2,500-acre boarding school in Andover, NH, envisioning a more connected and pedestrian-friendly campus that can evolve through phased projects. The plan strengthens the campus core by establishing a clear center of activity, while also reorganizing circulation to prioritize walking and consolidate vehicular areas. Today, many paths are informal or shared with cars; the plan replaces these with accessible, well-defined walkways, including a new east–west spine that links key academic and residential zones. Redundant paths are removed to create a new campus green overlooking Proctor Pond—an open, flexible gathering space that captures the school’s character and anchors future development.
