Swifts Landing transforms a previously vacant 16-acre site into a 93-unit mixed-income community of affordable and workforce housing. The development is nestled within existing woodlands and composed of New-England style two-story townhome buildings surrounding a town green, a reflection of Wareham’s traditional neighborhood character. Our work includes the preservation of a stand of existing trees within the central green that provide essential shade to the site while preserving its wooded character and instilling a sense of place within the development. Other community amenities include a playground, woodland walking trails, community garden, and clubhouse terrace. Each townhome includes a private front entrance and front porch.
