Our design team at Crowley Cottrell developed a landscape plan for the redevelopment of UMass Amherst’s Whitmore Hall. Through close collaboration with the architect, we evaluated massing studies to determine which approach best complemented the surrounding campus. The landscape design played a key role in linking the renovated building with the adjacent Haigis Mall and the campus’s primary circulation paths.
