Our relationship with Nashoba Brooks, an independent K–8 school, began in 2018 with a campus master plan to enhance outdoor educational programming and play space, improve pick-up and drop-off safety and circulation, and unify campus aesthetics and materials. Since that initial phase, the firm has returned to campus to complete two discrete projects that advance this vision. Around the Discovery Barn, a new multi-purpose learning space, playful connections link back to the existing school building while improving safety for bus pick-up and drop-off within the parking lot. Adjacent to the barn, the refurbished school garden strengthens connections between science learning and the outdoors.
