Brockton, MA

 

Crowley Cottrell created a series of interventions to improve accessibility at Massassoit Community College’s Brockton Campus. The design improves access to the college’s student center and four academic buildings while integrating with the campus’ existing character.  The interventions also sought to reduce impervious surfaces across campus, and to continue Massasoit’s commitment to native and sustainable planting. Taking just nine months for design and construction, the work was phased and scheduled to minimize disruption for students.
